Non- declaration of a particular asset to my office department

I am a govt servant.my father gave me cash money in 2009 of around 15 lakhs which he has got by selling his property in delhi..but doesnot give me the papers.so i didnot declare this property in the declaration of all assets which i have to declare to my department after every six months

Yes as the property was of your father thus, you are legally not required by law to declare the said property in the assets in your office department.
