Which kind of case you have filed in DC court. And which kind case you uncle has filed in civil court.
Come with both case papers so that we may advice you the best solution.
As you told that you granny is sole owner of the property so nothing to worry.come will papers fix appointment.

first question is whether your mother has any proof showing that she is the sole owner of the property, i.e., a will, a registered transfer deed for the property showing her ownership. If so then that should be produced in court. If not, then according to the inheritance act, the property of the father is equally distributed amongst the legal heirs. Here I would also like to state that your mother and grandmother are also legal heirs in the property if there is will or transfer deed showing the sole ownership of your maternal uncle. Also regarding the case, there is nothing much which can be done except filing reply and placing any documents or witnesses on record which can show that your granny is the true owner of the property. Hope this answers your query.
