Moved out of ancestral home now can we claim share in it

We have a family home in which we used to stay. We were having a extended family. They used to torture us. So we moved out. The house is in name of the mother and her brother and sisters. What can we do to claim our mother's share in the property? Our mother is alive.
It appears that your mother is one of the co-sharer of the joint property in which she has a undivided equal share along with her brother and sister .If that is so then s suit for partition he can claim her legitimate share by way of filing and separate possession and injunction.
