14-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
I have been staying in fathers home from past 14 years and paying the maintenance and tax regularly. Now my father has filed a case to vacate the house citing the reason that he wants the house. He has been staying with my brother and in native place. what can be done now?

If it's not your house and you do not possess title of the house then please vacate the house peacefully. Respect your father's opinion and also legally his side has the maximum weightage unless you can show strong grounds for staying so.

Is there any agreement betweeb you and your father or mutually you were staying? Further if the said flat is in your fathers name, no law can stop him but yes you can oppose it on the ground as stated by you. Even you can file partition suit for your rights. For detailed advice pls contact
