Lost property documents. Please tell me how to proceed ?

I (muslim mother) have recently gifted my whole property (which is self owned by me ) to my unmarried son. But unfortunately due to his death i have lost my property documents. What is the best procedure to get my property documents back? I have sons and daughters. Who will be the next successor? Will i ( muslim mother) have any right to distribute the property equally between sons and daughters. As i am 72 years old can i write any will in this matter. With a hope that you would answer my query i conclude.
In case of a gift deed, when the trasferee dies the property reverts back to the transferor. Thus, you are the sole owner of the said property. Therefore, you can make a will transferring the said property in favour of whom so ever you wants.
