The property on death of the owner passes on to the legal heirs of the deceased. The clissification of the legal heirs is mentioned in succession act.If the lady collecting the rent is in bonafide need then incase you do not vacate she can file eviction petition. However you have a defendable case since you are living there from a long time.

Given the circumstance that you have mentioned there is no reason that you shall worry about leaving the house. The landlady cannot dispossess you from the said property without showing bonafide use or occupation. Also if you have been paying the rents regularly it is exceedingly difficult for her to dislodge you.
