Legal procedure to obtain copies of title deeds of a property bought

06-Mar-2023 (In Property Law)
i have booked an apartment with Hiranandani in Devanahalli. Post submitting the booking amount, in the agreement of sale, they have mentioned all document number related to title deeds and the municipal sanction related file number, but none of the copies were provided in the agreement of sale for me to verify and go through. When asked, they said that as a company policy, they do not give any document to individual buyers. However, they can allow my lawyer, to have a look but no copies will be provided.I need a copy of the documents to check that everything is legal as well as to ensure that if I plan to sell this property at a later stage, I should be able to provide all these document to the buyer for loan etc. What should I do and is there any legal method to obtain the said documents.

The builder is strictly bound to provide the buyer with all documents related to property. If denied you have every right to ask for refund of booking amount along with interest. Feel comfortable to contact me to provide contact details of builder.
