land sold by grandfather 20 years back without daughters consent

26-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)

A land of 4.5 acres owned by my grandfather was sold 20 years ago. My grandfather has a son and two daughters. It was sold without the consent of two daughters of my grandfather. Now that land ownership has been changed to different hands. Now, is it possible to file a case against the present land owner?

This is a very vague question, first answer the following to get a proper opinion
1) Who purchased the property, grandfather?
2) If it was ancestral property, when did the grandfather die?
3) Whether the tow daughters are married and if so, when?
4) If it was self acquired or inherited through partition or settlement or gifted property of grandfather, whether he died intestate?
5) Who sold the property, whether grandfather or his sons?
6) When was the property sold?
7)How are you concerned with this?
8) How many hands has this property been passed into?
You may answer all the above question if you want correct and proper legal opinion, or else any answer given to your vague question will only misguide you resulting into heavy loss and disappointments.
