Land site registered in my name but does not have katha
12-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
I had bought a land of 60x40 from my relative( seller) in mysore and it is registered in my name. My relative ( seller) has a site in front of our site. But later I realised that my site does not have katha. When enquired about this to my relative he said even his own site does not have katha and he will set it right. Later on after few years he said katha has been issued to the both site ( mine and his). But so far he has not given us any katha. He has given my site to builders without my consent . He says he has katha done for our site in his name. So can we legally proceed against him?
Dear Sir/Madam, on the basis of your sale deed you have to apply for khatha before the revenue authority, if any refuse the same, they will endorse for reason, thereafter you have to give notice to the your relative i.e., your vendor, i.e., your seller. You do not leave your possession. ... if you want more advice in this regard I will do it under paid service. kindly give your ratings my service, it will token of appreciation of service... best of luck...by Chandrashekhar Vithal Jadhav, Advocate, Bangalore.
