Is taking thumb impression without the knowledge of the person legal

Grand father -3 was died before 1956 , as there is no child with grand parents-3 , His wife was alive till 2005 , before her mysterious death uncle illegally taken thumb impression on the 4.0 Acre Agriculture land property and also on ¼ th portion of 3 part of house(Out of 6 part) land which is completely illegal . Expecting Uncle has no right to take thumb impression from her illegally also as : Her husband was died before 1956 House Lands and agriculture lands are not identified to her , as ownership/Clear title is not with her please guide for partion of property as grand father -1 (1 son) , grand father-2 (2 sons) and grand father-3 (no child)

You can go for a civil suit and as well court can direct police to lodge criminal case of 420 for taking illegal thumb impression.make it clear impression is taken on vasiyat or taken in on selling documents.

File the suit for declaration and permanent injunction before the civil court and also lodge a complaint simultaneously with the concern police station for forging the signatures and committed an offence under section 420, 467, and 468 of IPC
