Is renting of flat on pagdi system legal for ancestral property

Can a huf karta (father ) rent out rooms on pagdi system in a own building (ancestral property) to his sons only to bypass the new provisions of TP act which gives equal right to daughters. Now at the time of redevelopment daughters are told there is no room left as they have already been occupied by the brothers as stated above and they will get share only in land rights with her brothers. Redevelopment compensation agreed 1flat per room and 2 flats for land rights there approximately 6 rooms please advice

yes he can rent out the ancestral property. But there are chances of dispute arising between the family members, it is better to seek partition among the family members and then rent out the property which would reduce the chances of dispute
