Is probate of Will necessary to sell property by beneficiary in UP?

Husband died and wife got the property from husband from Will. Is probate of Will necessary to sell the property in Uttar Pradesh?
Under section 212 (2) of Indian succession act 1925, Hindu, Muslim, etc. are not bound to apply the letters of administration (probate). It is optional and Not mandatory for these persons to seek probate of will.

in case husband died and wife got the property from husband from his will. probate not necessary to sell the property in uttar pradesh. wife sell the property on the basis of such will. only mutation proceeding is required. mutated her name in place of her husband.
