Yes you can, you should file a suit for partition, you will have to provide me with little more details, your mother has got a right as it is an Ancestral property and your grandfather has not made any WILL, she has got Right in her Father property

From the facts or information provided it appears you are Hindu. On this presumption your query is answered.Firstly it appears your mom's father gave his individual or ancestral property to his sons and now your mother cannot claim any share in that property. In so far as your mother's mother property is transferred to your uncle's wife by her voluntarily which ought to be by a release deed or by way of gift which would be legal. What information/proof do you have about any jewellery standing in the name of your Granny? Information as to Why your Mom and you are still living in your Mom's house with maternal uncles is not forthcoming. if all details are furnished to any civil lawyer he may be able to guide you.
