I want to "reject or refuse or decline” my father property.

19-May-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi Mr. Lawyers, I am S. Pavan Kumar (Hindu) from Warangal (Telangana). I have a question, which is odd in the nature. Point 1: What if i want to "refuse" my property share from my father and mother and grand parents, which I inherit by any act of Indian law. And I want that share of my property from fathers and ancestor's, Should be distributed equally to remaining siblings (who is heir). Point 2: If there is any Debt in Banks, which are, did by my Father, I am ready to pay them in the first place. And I want to exclude my siblings from this dispute. I want to take whole and sole responsibility to pay the debt. If our Great Indian Law has the provision. Then let me know by which sections I can prepare a proper document or notary or suitable legal document (I mean best option). If I want to prepare the proper document, Then what should be the stamp paper value. I think you people got my questions. Please let me know the answers. PLEASE KEEP THIS CONFIDENTIAL. Regards, S Pavan

Yes you can do so. However, this is not provided explicitly in any provision of law. However, it is conferred by the Article 21 of Indian Constitution i.e, Right to Life.

If you don't want to have share in the property then you can simply relinquish your share and your siblings will enjoy the property in equal shares. You can simply pay off the debt incurred by your father and others will also be free from the liability.
