I bought a car, but seller not transferring it on my name. Advise

02-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
Dear Lawyers, I have purchased the car from a dealer and he is not transferring it on my name in spite of many reminders since last 5 months. What are my options as I want to be clear with respect to papers. Seller (dealer) is saying he has given it for transfer but not ready to give me application number and agent phone number etc. He had shown me NOC copy but the snap is taken in fishy way. Why must he be doing it? Is he going to file stolen case on me? What is my proof that I purchased vehicle from him? Thanks for your reply. Regards

So its advised that you please get the documents signed by the dealer who sold off the car to you. The earlier owner can also be contacted who could help you bringing truth into light. You are open to adopt legal options such as sending legal notice wherein you mention all facts and you could also file case if need be.

Sir you can give legal notice to the dealer for deficiency in services since he had all ready received the consideration for the car and not transferring the ownership on your name. Do u have receipt for payment made to dealer?
