How will my father's self acquired property be partitioned?

03-Mar-2023 (In Property Law)
We are 7 brothers and 2 sisters of Hindu Family in Karnataka. All of them are married. My father and my mother expired before 2000. My father has self acquired a land of 5 acres and a house. One of my sister claiming her share over my father's self acquired property. Please suggest what share of property each one of us will get in this case? Also all brothers settled at different places in Karnataka have their own self earned properties in their locations. These are purely their self earned. In this case, Please suggest if our sisters have any rights to claim on our self earned properties?

You say you are 7 brothers and 2 sisters your Family in Karnataka making it totally 9 members. It is immaterial whether they are married or not. The land of 5 acres and a house if are self acquired properties of your father, he was free to bequeath to any one he liked by way of a will. If your late father hs not written a will, the you sister is justified in claiming her share over her father's self acquired property. So your sisters have all the rights to claim said properties, every one equally.

Well when the property was partitioned then your father had 1/9 share in it along with you and your brother.
You are silent whether your father at the time of his death made any Will or any other bequest in respect of hs 1/9 share. If no then his 1/9 share is to be equally divided among all his legal heirs which include you, your brothers and sisters and your mother.
