How to transfer car parking in a society

I am car parking space in the society which I want to transfer to other member. Can I do so legally directly to member or I need to surrender to the society
Usually, the car parking space belongs to the Society. But if you have purchased the car parking space from the builder at the time of purchase of the flat then in that case, you have certain ownership rights over the car parking space. As the car parking space has not been allotted by the society you are free to transfer the same to any other member of the society

You can take written permission from the society for this. Once society had given you no objection certificate then only you can transfer it to other member of the society only and not to any third person.
