Hi
On what basis the partition was done? How many brothers/sisters your father have? Collect the documents of partition and meet any lawyer. Property disputes are very complicated and lengthy you can't get any solution without meeting a lawyer.

Yes you can go ahead and locate all properties and also incorporated in the same as one of the legal heirs as a matter of right. The information of properties can be gained from the revenue department and municipal department of your jurisdiction where property lies. Therefore it is a step by step procedure where in you need to locate properties then get the mutation in your fathers name.If required we can also file a civil suit or avail criminal remedy through civil and criminal courts if any injustice has been recurred qua your properties.
