how to get my share in ancestral property while my father is no more

My grand father & grandmother had 3 sons. After my grandfather death all is property was taken care by my grandmother. But not sure whether the properties all transferred to my grandmother name. My father and his brother dead only the 2nd son of my grandfather is alive who is taking care of my grandmother. Tell me whether my mother or myself how to get my father share. Is it possible to get my father share even after all the properties transferred in my grandmother name
