How to get land out of FTL

03-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
Presently my land has been marked as an FTL land and FTL pillars have been erected at different locations around the lake. So my concerns is about the construction we are going to have in our land. We have got the loan sanctioned from hdfc bank and have started with the construction. Is it risky to go ahead with our house construction or we can get our land out of FTL anytime in future. Also I have read few articles related to FTL lands in Hyderabad and govt has asked officials to be lenient in giving LRS to these lands. Is it true? We do have no objection certificate from the revenue department and permission from the gram panchayat for the construction. Our LRS application is still in process and we haven't received any progress report on it. Please let me know if we can do something about getting the land out of FTL and get the LRS sanctioned for our land.

You cannot come out of the FTL land. Giving loan by HDFC Bank does not mean that your land has good title. Normally the Banks will give loans for promote their business.

Normally, the GP will give layout and construction permission by taking bribe, but it is illegal to construct in FTL. You will not get LRS for FTL lands. You will not get NOC from Revenue Depart nor Minor Irrigation Department.
