How is ancestral property distributed among legal heir

My husband has a younger brother and a younger sister who is married. My father in law passed away before my marriage.the property which they enjoy is from my father in laws father's.-ie ancestral property. They have by force got my husbands signature and the younger brother is enjoying the whole property in come. They denied to give anything at least for my daughters studies. She is now 20 years old.can she claim the right of the property share and what action can be taken. Please suggest a remedy.my husband supports the brother .not bothered about daughter.

You are saying your husband has parted away his right in the ancestral property - need to look at it - (the nature of document, it may be a release or settlement deed)
Eventhough your husband has parted away his right your daughter has right over the property. She can challenge within 3 years of attaining majority and many ruling are available to that effect. This means she is at the right age of claiming her share.
