13-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)

We are 4 brothers , our mother deceased recently, the house was in mother's name, and some dues were also pending against the house. Now we need to register the house in our name, but one of our brother is creating problems in the same , and not cooperating in registration process and also not willing to pay anything . In this case we are unable to progress forward, kindly suggest any solution for this so that the hurdles are removed from the path of registration.

Dear Questioner
You have raised question relating to registry of your grandmother's house after her death. As per the Indian Law property will devolve equally among the share holders after the death of owner of the movable or immovable property. You want registry of said house but your brother is not cooperating. We have one option to file a partition suit and raise relief for his share in the house and if we have paid the dues of said house then you can mention in the civil suit regarding the paid money in the said house and want more help then contact through my Law Rato profile....
