How can I save my self acquired property

I am a retired person. Have one wife and 2 married sons, my first son is dead. My first daughter in law is not in good terms with family, she has a son( minor). My second son and his daughter in law are in good relations with us. I want give my first daughter in Law's share in ancestral property. My query is. 1) can my first daughter in law file a civil suit on my entire property ( ancestral + self acquired), if self acquired property is included than how much time it might take in court to get clearance. 2) is there any way to safe guard my self acquired asset.( Transferring my asset to

i) Yes she ( your first daughter in law) can file a suit claiming the ancestral property of your deceased son. But you have full right on your self acquired property and may transfer to anyone you desire, either in part or full.
ii) The average time taken for disposal of such case is 2 years to 10 years depending on the lawyers and other circumstances of each case.
