How can I get my property

Sir.my grandfather passed away last year he take a agriculture land in 1982 on my grandmother name he was govt servant my grand mother sale that land .sir suggest me how i get back that land either by legal heir or first priority to get my right kindly advice me thank you
In my view if property is in the name of your grand mother then your grand mother has enough right to sell that property.you cannot claim that land being a legal heir as per my view but if the land is purchased by the money of ancestral property then scenario can be changed ,requires more information
