How can I buy 2 flats in same CGHS in Delhi

14-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
I am an original allotee in a housing society in Delhi (Currently leasehold). Can I buy another flat (leasehold) in the same society on registered Power of Attorney/GPA/Agreement to Sale basis? Also please explain the difference between owning a flat in a group housing society and being a member of the society? Can a person own a flat in a CGHS in Delhi without being a member of the society? If this is possible how can this be done.

You can be member in the group housing society even if, you have a valid tenancy agreement in relation to a house in the society.
On the other query i must tell you that you can buy other properties as well in the same housing society if any exclusive clause restricting that is not made in the society's rules.
For an accurate advice do consult with details and documents.

why not but u have not to ask any exemption or rebate of tax and others and u have to justify the reason for purchase of second flat to the department at the time of tax evaluation, parawise answer is as follows
once u purchase a property on regd deed u autometically become the member of the society but not on gpa
