Helped parent build house now mother want to give to me what procedure
22-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
I'm the youngest son to my parents and I'm the one who built house and also have given 40 lakh to my parents for personal reasons. My elder brother is not responsible and did not do anything. The house is on my mothers name can she gifts me house as she is willing to give home for me. Does my brother need to sign or does he has any right on the home. Religion is hindu.
Dear sir,
if the property is your mother's self aquired property , then she can write a will , bequeathing the property in your name for which your elder brother's consent is not required. it would be advisable to discuss with a lawyer personally in any other case.
