Harassed by society committee members
20-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
My father purchased a flat as super built up area in a complex 10 yrs ago, but the problem is the committee members of that complex always look for opportunity to harasse my old parents , they always force my parents to follow their words which is not acceptable all the time. What legal actions can i take to stop them, please suggest
Please write in details. What is the main problem. No body can harass your parents and force your parents to follow their illegal demands. I can suggest the legal action only after you write specific problem/incident.
u have to file cases against the persons . depending upon the age of your father and depending upon your approach whether to be defensive or aggresive it depends. full advice on meeting to consult the dtrategy
What is the society? is it a cooperative society or is it a registered society under some other law? Your remedies may vary accordingly.
However for the time being kindly write a letter to the committee bringing on record all objections and instances of harassment caused to your parents. This will come in handy later when legal proceedings are initiated, if at all they are.
