Grandfather's property -- Can it be divided among children?
16-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
I am a Hindu. My paternal grandfather's land has been divided among my aunts and uncles including dad but it is not divided equally among the members. Is it legal for writing will for your father's property to a favorite grandchild? What about the rest of the grandchildren? Do they have any say? Please advise.
If your grandfather has written down a will and it was his self acquired property then yes he can give as much share to whom he wishes to and can also not give any share to his children. It is totally his own decision. You cannot have any say in it
