Grand father's land one son asking for 50% share how to divide

09-Mar-2023 (In Property Law)

We have a 6 gunta land which is under the name of (My grand father). Under land rule 1974 then the RTC was changed to include the names of his elder brother(Deceased, Has a son who has filed a case to get 50% of the land) ,younger brother(Transferred the ownership to my father) and a sister (deceased now. With no children). Now the dispute is the elder brothers son has filed a case in court to get 50% of the land. But the thing is my grandfathers younger brother has transferred the ownership to my father. How exactly we can solve this and what can we do?

If your elder brother is already filed a case then you ought to br party in the said case , engage a Lawyer on your behalf and he will guide you to get your legitimate share according to the Hindu Succession Law. It is not clear whether you are party in the said proceedings, if you are not then you can join in the proceedings, as said earlier consult a lawyer at local level.
