Got land through registered sale deed but date wrong on it by mistake

08-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)

Mother gave power of attorney to his son. On the basis of power of attorney we got the land from her son through a registered sale deed. By mistake the date was put wrong in the sale deed. Now the whereabouts of that son are not known to us. How can we rectify the mistake?

You can always ask mother, who was the principal, to be present in court of Sub Registrar where sale deed was registered.
You can get a supplement added to the registered document clarifying the earlier mistake.
This supplement be signed by mother and the purchaser it will be valid.
