What is the case pending in court?
What did you with the cheque given by the agent, have you deposited in the bank and got it bounced?
If the property is ancestral in nature the left out family members excluding your mother, can file a suit for partition, separate possession of their share and also for permanent injunction restraining the defendants from alienating the property.
Besides, you and your father who are principals and have executed a power of attorney deed in favor of the agent should immediately cancel the power deed quoting the bounced cheque as reason and instruct the agent to handover possession of the property. You may even lodge a criminal complaint against him with the police for cheating you by giving a cheque with out having sufficient money in the bank account.
