Gift deed can be re-saled by the doner?

29-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)
My mother-in-law has done gift deed on 2013 to my husband and was registered the same to my husbands name. Now after 3 years she has taken 50 lakh rupees from brother-in-law and saled the same gifted property to my Brother-in-law. My question is how the same property get registered in another persons name and gift deed can be saled by the doner later on.

Your mother in law cannot sell the property to your brother in law since the gift deed has already been registered. You must immediately file a suit for declaration and permanent injunction against your mother in law and brother in law.

Sale by her after registered gift deed is illegal if the gift deed has not been cancelled in accordance with law.
Your husband should file suit for declaration and cancellation of the sale immediately.

The property is already given in registered sale deed, can't be sold by the donor again and again, sale deed is void as your mother in law did not had the authority at the time to execute it
