Friend is not returning the papers of my land how can I get it back

Sir, I have a residential plot at Moradabad. I was planning to sale the said plot. One of my friend who had already taken a loan of Rs. 80000/- from me told me that he can help me in sale the plot. One day he sent his brother to my home and asked for the papers of the land on the plea that they had a client who is interested in the plot and want to see the papers. Accordingly my wife given the papers of the plot to the brother of my friend. After a few days the said friend had returned Rs. 50000/- to me. After few days when we asked for the papers of land he had not returned the papers
You will have to file a case before the civil court of competant jurisdiction for declaration and mandatory injunction seeking declaration of your tile to the property and injunction seeking directions to your friend to deliver the documents pertaining to your property to you.
