Flat registered in both our name does wife have equal rights

Flat owned by husband and wife is Co applicant. Does she has equal right on the property. Can she asked for share in sale value of a flat incase of property sale. In case of disputes.. Husband doesn't want to sale flat and don't want wife stay in the same house what are the ways to tackle this.
In case of a property owned jointly by husband and wife, she can claim for her share in the property. She has an equal right on the property jointly owned by husband and wife. Wife can file a partition suit to claim her share in the property.
