Flat booking amount not refunded by builder

I had cancelled my book flat before 5 months ago but till date builder not refund my booking amount. Please suggest me.

did you registered any agreement ?
what is the correspondences before and at the time of booking and after the booking of the flat between you and the builder??
depending on the all the earlier correspondences, it can be verified as to what was agreed between the builder and you on the point of refund of the booking amount if the purchase is cancelled by you?
Please engage Advocate and send legal notice to the builder for refund

Its a Deficiency in Service by the Builder / Developer. You can Always Approach Consumer Forum and Claim Principal Refund Plus Damages , Interest and Penalty. Sent a Notice to Builder and Give him 10 days time to refund the Amount. In Case of Default , You can filed complaint in Consumer Forum
