Father`s sisters right on farm given by grandfather to father & mother
10-Mar-2023 (In Property Law)
My grandfather transefe his inherited farm ownership to my father and mother on 28 Dec 2004 .so is there any rights to my father's sister on this farm
This is a vague query. The documents of transfer need to be described. However As it's an inherited property she - your fathers sister may have rights if your grandfather was alive in 2005 by way of her share in the ancestral property.
IN CASE OF GRANDFATHER IS LIVING AND HE HAS TRANSFERRED THE ANCESTRAL PROPERTY BY WAY OF REGISTERED GIFT DEED THEN SINCE IT IS AN ANCESTRAL PROPERTY THEN EVEN YOUR FATHER'S SISTER HAS THE RIGHT OVER IT. HOWEVER, IN CASE THE GRANDFATHER'S PROPERTY IS SELF ACQUIRED OF HIS OWN THEN SHE CANNOT CHALLENGE IT
