Father sold property without informing sons what can be done

My father has sold a property (land) to my sister without informed us .and constructing a house .can we bring stay on that.

Yes u can get a stay order if the property is ancestral by filing a partition suit before a civil court. By if the property is not ancestral than chances of stay order are less. You can still file a suit before any civil court.

if the property is self acquired property of your father then u dont have any right to question,but if he acquired property from his father or mother (ancestral ) ,then you have a right in the property and u can get stay easily

Dear, if the property in question is the self acquired property of your father then your father has the right to sold it to anybody and the childrens donot have any right over the self acquired property of the father. However, if the property is the ancestral property then you can seek remedy against that by filing civil suit in the court of law.

Saw your query, but you didn't mention that whether it is your ancestral property or your father's self acquired Property, if your father sold that property to your sister and she is constructing house on it you can approach court and can have stay on the construction.
