Father sold ancestral property to his own brother w/o son's concern

11-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
My father sold ancestral land to his own brother in 2012 for some formal amount without my concern. I came to know about this matter few days back. I am not happy with his decision and would like to get back the property. So could you please suggest me is there any chance to get this land legally. By the way this is the land came to my father after partition of all joint properties among his siblings. Thanks in advance.

You will have to file a civil suit to claim your rights in the ancestral property as your Father also inherited the rights of alienation over the disputed property, thus he did the aforementioned transfer in favor of his brother according to the right. Now you have also inherited the right to your ancestral property of your ancestors. Thus, you will have to file a Civil suit in a Civil court having jurisdiction over your locality. That would be the only course of action open to you. Feel free to get in touch if we could be of any further assistance to you.
