Father gave share to uncle in return of money is this correct

i belong to a muslim family.all property belongs to my grandpa.he is no more.then my father give some share to his brother against a handful of money.without any concern to us.we dont know that my father is doing this,we all are adult,Can we return our share back from my uncle to return his money which he give my father at the time of taking shares PLEASE SUGGEST
When the property was a mortgaged property and when the debtor fails to pay back the amount, then the bank takes over the mortgaged property through which they can recover the dues.
