Family property rights of daughter and sons

We belong to hindu religion 4 sons and 5 daughters.1 daughter died.right now we want to divide our property.do the sons and daughters have equal rights on the property
Yes. The daughters have equal rights as that of the sons. This applies to the case presumably where the ancestral property is to be partitioned in metes and bounds. However in case of self acquired property, the property can devolve either by way of gift or will, or as per rules of intestate succession.
