Does deceased daughters children have share in grandfathers property?

My grand father has 2sons & 5 daughters he died in 1941 & 1son & 3 daughters are also dead he purchased property in 1937-38 my question is whether daughters and decessed daughter's childrens have any right in my grand father's property as HSA 2005 SEC 8 IS APPLICABLE
The amendment to the Hindu Succession Act is not applicable to persons who had deceased before the amendment having come into force which was in 2005. Therefore, the surviving daughter would not have a share in the property.
