Does daughters have right over the grandfather's property?

My grandfather inherited a property from his father and now he is giving all to his son nothing to any of his daughter. Does any of his daughter have a right to fight for it by law.? Second as i am a grand son do i have any right on it ?

Inherited property is to be divided as per the succession laws. When you say that your grandfather is giving away, do you mean by Gift (at present) or by way of a Will (after his demise)?

Would also need to know your exact status - grandson as in son's son or daughter's son? Predeceased parent?

Yes, the daughters have a right in grandfather's property if he had inherited it from his father.Also, you being a grand son also have a right in the property. For detailed analysis please show papers if any.
