i have the ancestral property my father died before the amendment of 2005 HSA can claim the share my sisters. religion hindu
Your sister have absolute equal right as you do in the property of your father. The Hindu succession act,2005 amendment is to give equal right in ancestral property in parts of india where it is not applicable before that time. But in tamilnadu there is already an amendment to the HSA which give equal right to hindu female child. As such you can not claim the share of your sister which she is legally entitled.
