You can find out your case hearing dates and present position. Go to the court and search the date of filing your case in filing Register. Next search in Computer at the court for next hearing date. Then go to the concerned court office and check the service of notices sent. Be present in the Court on next hearing date.

If you know your Divorce Case number, you can find out the present position from the court records. If necessary steps are not taken as required under law, you make sure that those steps are taken either through your advocate or some other. Make sure that you follow up the case properly.
If you have filed a petition for divorce by mutual consent, then the case will be taken up for hearing after the expiry of 6 months from the date of your case in the file of the court i.e from the date of first hearing of the case.
You are entitled for alimony/maintenance in case you have no income or sufficient income of your own to maintain yourself.
