Division of Property jointly acquired by father and sons

18-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
Property is in my father's name but while buying the property my 3 brothers contributed from their own earnings and also by taking loan and my father sold his ancestral property and bought this property. I am the daughter, do i get the same share in the property as my brothers Or do I get share only from my father's contribution.

Hi madam, you are having share in the said property as a legal heirs. When your father sold the ancestral property and to buy the property from the said amount with help of your 3 brothers in the name of your father, it amounts to ancestral property. If your brothers to claim a joint family property at that time you are also having your respective share in the said property as a joint family member.
