distribution of property of grandfather between uncle and father.

My grandfather was 5 brothers. all Properties are on the name of elder grandfather now how it can be distributed among uncles and father? Please show me a right legal way.
The way to proceed would be either to calculate the share of each person and enter in to a Family Settlement Deed to be signed by all the concerned parties which would partition the property. Do ensure that each perons share is calculate in accordance with law and you may wish to consult an Advocate to avoid complications in the future.
In the event that you are unable to reach a concesus on how the property is to be divided, file a suit for partition before the concerned Court. The Court will then take stock of the entire property and the legal heirs who are entiteld to a share. Leaving it to the Court however may take a significant amount of time and resources which can be avoided by entering to a family settlement based on the rightful share of each person calculated in accordance with law.
