Under the provision of civil procedure code there are provision of 2 appeal first appeal under section 96 which can be file on the error of fact and Law and second appeal under section 100 which only can be file on error of Law. So if order has been passed in first appeal you can file second appeal, if order passed by district court you will have to file second appeal before High court and if order has been passed by High court you will have file second appeal before supreme court of India and along with that you can file application for grant stay or any other relief.

You had not mentioned infront of which court your case presiding because if it is in any lower court you have to make appel infront of high court on the facts that you had not made clear hope stay can be granted
