Daughter's share in father's property

Daughter's share applicable father's property and how many percentage of share?  Any laws applicable for daughter or grand-daughter.

There is a provision under amended act 2005 that a daughter can claim her rights in father and fathers ancestral property. And father is bound to give the share and after fatter death other family person are bound

Daughters have equal share in the ancestral property of her father as per Hindu succession act. If denied can file suit for partition. Kindly write in detail about the property. Your religion and family history.

Girl's do have equal share in her father's own self acquired property. And in case of ancestral / inheritted property, only if father is alive on the day of commencement of amendment act of Hindu Succession Act, Girls do have right.

Yes daughters have equal right in her fathers property.According to The hindu succesion act which was amended on 9th September 2005, every daughter who is married or unmarried is considered a member of her fathers family and have equal right in her fathers property, however a daughter can enjoy the benefit granted by the amendment , only if her father passed away after September 9 2005 also the daughter is eligible to bwe co-shareonly if the father and daughter were alive on september9 2005.

Its your father's self acquired property. According to section 8 of hindu succession act, immediately after the death of the father all his legal heirs inherit his property. Irrespective of son or daughter.
