Daughter's right if father had two wives and died intestate
08-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My mother died and my father did another marriage. Now my father is no more. He had no written 'will'. From step mother he had my 3 siblings. Now what are my rights as lone surviving daughter in his (a) pension, (b) bank savings, and (c) parental property of first mother. My step brother is not ready to give a single penny to me. Pl. advice what I can do in this matter n oblige.

Your mother's parental property would go exclusively to you. Your father's properties will have five shares your step mother, your 3 siblings and you. You have rights on the ancestral and self acquired properties. Depending on the State you live, you may/may not have right on agricultural land.
