Dad lost land to cheaters. How to get back our land legally

23-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)

In 1980 land was on my grand ma's name. After she passed away neighbour land owners cheated my uneducated father by saying change in survey number and so and made him sign on paper to get the power on their name on our land. In 2014 they sold it to another party using the power. But we still have the original mother document. Just few days ago we got the document when shifting the home. So what is the action to take now. Is it ok to complaint on them ?.. Pls advice.

You have not mentioned if your father is still living(?)
If your father is living, he can issue a legal notice to the the power agent stating that he had mis-utilised the power and got the property sold by executing a sale deed without taking giving the sale consideration amount to him hence the sale deed is invalid and not binding on him.
In the same notice he can even communicate that the power deed stands revoked or cancelled with immediate forthwith and whatever transaction done after this notice shall not be binding on him.

Suppose your father is not alive then based on the date of death and the date of execution of sale deed further opinion can be given, hence you may furnish full details while you are posting any query seeking opinion/clarification
